When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by Friday 1st August 2025. If you're having trouble getting the time booked off work, get in touch for help forging a doctors note.
What time should I arrive?
We haven't finalised the exact schedule yet but provisionally, Day guests should arrive for 11am, and Evening Guests for 7pm.
Can I bring a +1/child/amphibian?
You'll know from your invite if you can bring anyone with you! Amphibians welcome.
Is the Wedding Indoors or Outdoors?
Both! The ceremony will take place inside, and we have use of a lovely private garden throughout the day, so we'll be really pissed off if it rains.
Can I park at the venue?
Yes, there's plenty of free parking at the Chequers Inn.
Is it okay to take pictures?
We're not big on social media and there'll also be a few kids present. Please feel free to take photos, as long as you're not annoying about it, but don't share anything on social media without the permission of anyone who might be in your pics. And don't tag us.
What is a handfasting ceremony?
We don't know. It was just in a list of wedding FAQs we found on Google and we thought it was funny enough to leave in.
Will there be any activities?
We're trying to get a bouncy castle.
Will food be served?
There'll be Canapes before the Wedding Breakfast and a BBQ in the evening, but if you're the peckish type or you're bringing kids, it might be a good idea to stash some pocket meats on or around your person. The venue doesn't allow 'outside food' on their premises but we won't tell if you don't.
What if I have a dietary restriction?
Tell us. Obviously. How did you think we'd answer this question?
Will Terry Wogan be there?
Terry died in 2016 and as such will not be attending our wedding.
Is there a Registry?
We're very grateful to have everything we need already. We are saving for our Honeymoon and are still exploring the best way to receieve contributions to this, from those who are able. There's no pressure to do that though. Alternatively, we would be grateful for any charitable donations to Pancreatic Cancer UK on our behalf.
But wait, I still have questions!
Hi Mum, don't worry you can just whatsapp me and I'll get back to you in 7-10 working days.
